Corridors & Nurses' Stations Solutions

Corridor/Nurse Station Products

Healthcare corridors are high volume, transitional places for all users of the facility. Asymmetrical lighting is considered “best practices” to avoid glare for patients on a gurney or in a wheelchair. Nightlights ensure safety and aid in fall prevention, while decorative sconces provide soft illumination against the walls. All roads lead to the nurses’ stations, where tasks are performed on a 24-hour basis; lighting at nurses’ stations should ideally provide effective lighting on the horizontal plane for monitoring equipment and still offer effective vertical illumination for circadian support. New Star’s CompleteCare offers the right solutions.
